When you work in-house and deal with company disputes, you want the very best lawyers in the world to be by your side, especially during times like these. You want a firm with attorneys so strong that opponents gasp in fear at the mention of his name. You want a company that is internationally known for going for the jugular vein and coming out on top.
But how can you be sure you’ve chosen the right company? BTI Consulting Group has made things just a little bit easier with the release of its annual ranking of the companies most likely to instill fear in the opposing attorney, as determined by a poll of company attorneys. After reviewing all the comments, BTI dubbed it “Fearsome Foursome,” the most feared law firms in the country. These are the companies that you Do not want to see the other side.
So, which companies are being honored this year for their ability to instill fear in the hearts and minds of their adversaries?
- Jones Day
- Kirkland & Ellis
- Quinn Emanuel
- Skadden
According to BTI’s Michael Rynowecer, this is why these companies give GC nightmares:
1. Brave
It brings great courage in the face of high risk, danger and unknown waters. They enjoy the challenge and opportunity.2. Smart and super smart
Thinking fast, recognizing patterns, able to decipher and launch multiple strategies and bring everything they learn together.3. Energetic
The fight brings out more energy. More challenge breathes new vitality in the Fearsome Foursome.4. Mobilized
Act quickly – quickly but thoughtfully. Always with the right resources. The ability to think on their feet helps make this possible.5. Without prejudice
The Fearsome Foursome just won’t give up.
